Mr. Rajesh Lunawat. Proprietor of Swastik Fibchem Industry (pune) in India established in 1995 to produce Water Sports Equipment.
He is the primary owner and runs the factory assuring properly trained craftsmanship and following high-standardized methodical composite manufacturing methods.
More than 27-year Boat Building Experience.
His knowledge of every fact of boat building extends across every boat manufacturer recognizing the strengths and limits of each boat maker. This knowledge is applied to the Generation 2 Boats now available.
Mr Rajesh trained to build boats and also repaired boats for over a Decade. Myself paying attention to production and process control and management, materials testing assures the consistent quality of the swastik Generation 2 boats.
Swastik boats are designed to be compatible with widely available ranges of rigging equipment, including rudders, seats, slides and footplates - the kind of equipment the average club boatman will have in his workshop.

By bringing together the resources of the global marketplace in renowned German hull designer Klaus Filter, we attended 15 days boat building seminar at Germany 1997 under the Mr Klaus Filter. We design and manufacture rowing shells to his guidelines and suggestion in India.

These sports are our passion and having them grow and reach new destinations and generations. Our products are used by Rowing federation of India, National game (Manipur) in 1998, National game (Guwahati), army rowing node (CME), Bombay Engineering group and centre, (BEG) Madras Boat Club. We Have Exported our product in Sri Lanka in 2004 and Singapore in 2019.

Boat weights

The weight of any particular boat will depend upon the grade (Carbon gold, /carbon silver/carbon International/glass competitor/national training/ club training), the rigger type and the size of the boat (crew weight). We can guarantee the weight of our boats, so if this is an important issue for you, please discuss it with us when you make your enquiry.
The final weight of each boat depends upon the following:
Carbon Gold is the lightest, followed by carbon silver, carbon International, glass competitor then National training, Club Training.
Carbon silver and Carbon International are near FISA minimum weight. Glass Competitor Approximately heavier than carbon gold by 2kgs (4.4lbs) for 1s, 2.5kgs (5.5lbs) for 2s, 4kgs (8.8lbs) for 4s, 8kgs (17.6lbs) for 8s.
National Training is approximately heavier than Glass Competitor by 1.5kgs (3.3lbs) for 1s, 1.5kgs (3.3lbs) for 2s, 3kgs (6.6lbs) for 4s.
Club training is approximately heavier than National training by 1.5kgs (3.3lbs) for 1s, 1.5kgs (3.3lbs) for 2s, 3kgs (6.6lbs) for 4s.
